Organized by the Municipality of Imperia in collaboration with the Superintendency, the exhibition “Terrestrial Archaeology – Imperia: 100 Years, 2,000 Years of History” presents artifacts, archaeological finds, and educational panels that recount the history and evolution of the local area from the Roman era through the post-medieval period. A particular focus is placed on archaeological excavations conducted near the mouth of the Prino stream, which revealed an ancient Roman settlement and landing site. The centerpiece of the exhibition is an interactive, holographic display case that engages visitors by illustrating the development of the city of Imperia in the context of these archaeological discoveries.
